4. HIPAA & BAA Public Notice
For organizations where HonIsT Solutions acts as a Business Associate:
SMS is not used to transmit Protected Health Information (PHI), unless your signed BAA and security configuration explicitly permit limited administrative messaging.
PHI is processed only through secure and approved systems, such as Microsoft 365, encrypted email, or your ticketing environment.
This public notice does not replace any signed BAA; the BAA governs the handling of PHI.
5. Not a Contract or Service Agreement
